Washing instructions dupion

In general, wash your silk clothing as little as possible. It is often enough to air the garment after wearing it.

Hand wash: use special silk detergent and lukewarm water. Silk should not be soaked.

Machine wash: use special silk detergent and a program for wool/delicates. Set the temperature as low as possible and put your top in a closed net. You can use an anti-crease program.

Silk cannot be tumble dried.

Dupion silk looks better when ironed after washing. Iron on low temperature with steam. If you notice that the wrinkles do not come out completely, you can carefully turn up the temperature of your iron a little.
